A show, a hotel, and none of the driving.

Every so often a show comes through Charleston that is worth building a trip around, and this is that show. We have orchestra seating for the closing night of the Charleston run, which is a night the cast tends to leave everything on the stage.

Going as a group means sitting together, which matters more than people expect. Buy tickets on your own and you end up scattered in ones and twos across the theater.

The rest of the trip is Charleston at its best. A guided horse-drawn carriage tour through the historic district, free time at the City Market and along King Street, and a visit to Patriots Point to walk the deck of the USS Yorktown.

We handle the driving, the parking, and the details. You sit back and enjoy Charleston in one memorable overnight.

Before You Book

A few quick answers

Where does the motorcoach leave from?

We have two pickup points, Leland and Calabash. Tell me which is easier for you and I will note it on your reservation.

What does closing night mean?

We have seats for the final performance of the Charleston run. Closing nights have a particular energy to them, and the cast tends to leave everything on the stage.

Is this trip open to husbands and partners?

Yes. The Charleston show overnights are open to everyone. Bring him, bring a friend, bring a whole row.

How much walking is involved?

Very little, and most of it is your choice. The coach gets us close, the theater and the carriage tour are both seated, and the hotel is comfortable. This is one of the easiest trips we run.

What should I wear?

Whatever you like. Some people dress up for a night at the theater and some come as they are. Both are perfectly at home.

Do I need a roommate?

No, but sharing brings the cost down. I am glad to match you with a roommate from the group.

Is travel insurance available?

Yes, starting at $48 per person, and I strongly recommend it. Ask me about coverage options when you book.

Is there a minimum group size?

Yes. Pricing is based on a minimum of 30 travelers, so let me know early if you are interested.
