One night in Charleston for the musical, with somebody else doing the driving and the parking.
Every so often the right show comes through Charleston and it is worth an overnight rather than a long round trip in one day.
The Bodyguard is built around the Whitney Houston songbook, which means you already know most of the score whether you realize it or not. It is the kind of night where the whole coach hums the same song on the way home.
We go down by motorcoach, stay one night, and come back the next day. No parking decks, no downtown navigation, no drive home at midnight. Just the show, a comfortable bed, and good company.
North Charleston Performing Arts Center
The musical built around the Whitney Houston songbook. Reserved group seating, and the kind of score you will be humming the entire ride home.
Trolley, factory tour & tastings
Ride the trolley through the tea fields, tour the factory, and taste your way through it. It is the only working tea farm of its kind in the country, and a lovely, easy morning before the ride home.
Board the deluxe motorcoach in Leland or Calabash for the easy ride down. A guided horse-drawn carriage tour of historic Charleston, then free time at the City Market and along King Street. Dinner is included before we head to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center for The Bodyguard, in orchestra seating.
Breakfast at the hotel, then out to the Charleston Tea Garden, the only working tea farm of its kind in the country. A trolley ride through the tea fields, a factory tour, and tastings before we point the coach north. Home by evening, still humming the songs.
Departure times, pickup points, and hotel details confirmed closer to travel.
Yes. The Charleston show overnights are open to everyone. Bring him, bring a friend, bring a whole row.
We have two pickup points, Leland and Calabash. Tell me which is easier for you and I will note it on your reservation.
Very little. The coach gets us close, the theater is seated, and the hotel is comfortable. This is one of the easiest trips we run.
Whatever you like. Some people dress up for a night at the theater and some come as they are. Both are perfectly at home.
No, but sharing brings the cost down. We are glad to match you with someone from the group.
