About This Trip

More than a veterans event.

This one is different from our usual trips, and that is exactly the point. Five days where faith, patriotism, and history come together, with time built in to sit with all three.

You will see two of America's most inspiring attractions. The Ark Encounter is a life-size Noah's Ark built to the dimensions described in Genesis, and photographs do not prepare you for standing in front of it. The Creation Museum brings the Bible to life across exhibits, gardens, and a planetarium.

Woven through it is the A Nation Remembers Veterans Tribute Weekend. A remembrance ceremony, the Field of Honor with a thousand American flags, an 80 percent replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, the Welcome Home Veterans Parade through downtown Williamstown, a candlelight memorial service, and a concert by The Hoppers.

This trip is open to everyone. Bring your hubby, your dad, your brother, your family, or your friends. It is an inspiring getaway centered on faith and freedom, and it is a good deal richer when you share it.

Before You Book

A few quick answers

Is this trip open to husbands and partners?

Yes, and we mean it. Bring your hubby, your dad, your brother, your family, or your friends. This one is open to everyone and it is a wonderful trip to share.

Do I need to be a veteran, or related to one?

Not at all. This is more than a veterans event. It is an inspiring getaway centered on the Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum, faith, patriotism, and celebrating the freedoms we all enjoy.

How do I get there?

Fly into Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport, where your Tour Director will meet you. Airfare is not included in the tour price, so you can use miles or fly from whichever airport suits you. Call me and I will help you sort out flights.

How much walking is involved?

Moderate, and much of it is your call. The Ark and the Creation Museum are both large but well paved with plenty of seating, and shuttles run at both sites. Comfortable shoes matter more than anything else you pack.

What does quad or triple occupancy mean?

Quad is four people sharing a room, triple is three, double is two, and single is a room to yourself. Sharing brings the per-person cost down meaningfully, and I am glad to help match you with a roommate.

What's the weather like in September?

Pleasant. Days generally in the 70s, evenings cooler, with a chance of rain. Layers, a light jacket for the evening ceremonies, and comfortable walking shoes.

How do I reserve?

Email or call me at 931-801-9900. Space is limited, so reserve early.
